When I published our first book in 2004, I had no idea how much this business would grow—or how much I would grow alongside it. From the very beginning, we told our authors, “We’ll help you and your message bloom.” It wasn’t just a catchy phrase; it was our mission.

You see, I’m an avid dahlia grower. There’s something magical about planting a tuber in the earth and watching it transform into a breathtaking bloom.

Among the 40,000 varieties of dahlias out there, one stands out: the Capucia, a stunning pink dahlia with layers of petals unfolding in perfect harmony. It’s resilient, radiant, full of life and has impact, just like the authors we have the honor of publishing. So, when it came time to name my publishing company, there was no better choice than Capucia!

Here, we birth authors with the same care and intention that a gardener brings to her flowers.
